Every year, generous donors to the FTA Coup de cœur fundraising campaign contribute to the creation of new dance and theatre, the presentation of free performances and to community outreach and cultural access programs for students and young theatre and dance professionals. 

Help stimulate contemporary dance and theatre by participating in the FTA Coup de cœur Campaign! Every penny raised helps support new works so that contemporary culture is able to resonate with cutting-edge dance and theatre presented by daring independent artists from here and abroad – art that is able to reach a wide audience.

By expressing your coup de cœur for the Festival TransAmériques with a donation, you help us transform the landscape of contemporary art, supporting dance and theatre and introducing exciting work to a broad audience.

In 2012, your donations set Montreal stages ablaze with:

• 115 performances of 27 dance and theatre pieces
• A substantial investment in co-producing 9 shows by local artists
• 1 major free outdoor event: x-fois gens chaise
• 257 high school students in an intensive cultural seminar
• 29 young artists and critics in professional development workshops
• 200 free tickets to 5 community organizations
