Le héros de Macunaima voyage, bouleverse la logique et la géographie. Il ne trace pas seulement le trajet d'un peuple mais celui de toute une civilisation. Transformations mystérieuses, légendes et animaux mythologiques apparaissent comme des figures lointaines, pourtant familières. Quand il s'agit de la vie, tout est possible.

The hero of Macunaima travels with little heed for either logic or geography, retracing the footsteps of a people and indeed an entire civilization. Mysterious transformations, legends and mythological animals appear as distant yet familiar figures. When it comes to life, anything and everything is possible.
