Comme s'il marchait dans les mots, se développe la trame d'une méditation active : sur la parole libérée de la contrainte de raconter une histoire, sur la grandeur du rêve qui se mesure à la capacité de donner sa vie à qui on aime, sur la place de l'artiste dans la société, le choix ou l'obligation d'écrire. Un climat parfaitement onirique s'installe, indépendamment de celui qui écrit. Sauf que la visite de l'hôtelière et ce qu'elle a à raconter viendront modifier la texture des songes... Un spectacle qui met en jeu l'écriture et ses interrogations, avec la complicité de onze comédiens, d'une danseuse et du chorégraphe Jean Grand-Maître. In a hotel room somewhere a man sits and writes, as though he were walking in words, developing the fabric of active meditation. He reflects on speech freed from the constraint of telling a story; on the grandeur of a dream that confronts the ability to give one's life to one's beloved; on the place of the artist in society; on the choice or the obligation to write. A dreamlike ambience permeates the story, irrespective of the man who is writing. But then the hotelkeeper drops by, and what she tells him changes the texture of his dreams.
